FAMILY AND POSITION: 10th Boss of the Novana Family

SPECIALIZATION: Very good at persuasion. Sharp focus (once she actually gets focused anyway)

BOX WEAPON: Pander di Brava. A panda cub named Pon.

LIKES: teddy bears, small animals, food and pretty much anykind, and amusement parks.

DISLIKES: vegetables, show-offs (especially chicks who try to flaunt and brag about everything). She also has a very strong dislike for most reptiles.

PERSONALITY: Alessia is a very headstrong person. She always tends to act before she thinks and usually ends up in awkward situations because of it. She LOVES teasing other people and will take every chance she can to joke around with her friends and the Guardians. She really hates being alone, since she's always had someone near her since she was little (mostly thanks to her mother's doing), and whenever she gets left alone or loses whoever she happens to be with she starts getting jumpy and antsy.

She hates working alone, but at the same time, she still doesn't think she has enough responsibility to look after both herself and another person. It's only after she finds out about the Novana and her mother that she starts seriously thinking about responsibility and what has to be done. It scares her about how much has fallen into her hands and how much people are depending on her.

Her TYL self is more calm and focused than she was as a teenager. She's realized there's more to being a leader than simply being able to boss people around and having people to do things for you. She cares deeply for her guardians, and protects them with her life. She's become more like the Novana Primo, Sophia, as far as attitude goes. The family is always her main priority, despite how badly she wants to just take a break. She's learned to not act as rashly as she used to and learned to think clearly before making any major decisions.

HISTORY: Alessia was born into a mafioso family in Florence. However, her father had died in a mission before she was born, so she never knew what he was like or what kind of person he was. As she was growing up, her mother Caprice had vaguely spoken about how she had been a mafioso when she was younger and Alessia would always ask her questions about what it was like and how many bad guys she beat up. It wasn't until she was able to walk and talk that she found out about what happened to her father, about how he died trying to protect his family. Caprice didn't want to expose her daughter to the threats of the mafia world yet, so she kept her homeschooled in Italy, having her close friends and Guardians serve as her tutors and to look after her until they were all sure she was ready. Alessia had grown so used to them, that she started calling them "Auntie/Uncle" out of familiarity.

When she got older and further into homeschooling, she started going everywhere she could with her mom's friends. She couldn't stand being stuck inside and holed up in the house, so she would take any chance she got to get out, even if it was just grocery shopping. It was through her 'Uncle' Minshik that she met one of her to-be Guardians Jiho. The two would come by the main house often and Ale and Jiho soon became good friends. After a while though, he stopped coming and when she asked Minshik about it, he just told her that he had to go back home for a while. She didn't question it anymore.

It was also around this time when she met Arlo Tapparo. They had met before when they were very little when Arlo's parents came to talk "business" with Caprice. Arlo took the spot of Ale's older brother and would look out for her often, and she didn't really question it.

A few years later, when Jiho had returned to Italy, Alessia came face to face with Sejin, though not in the most friendly of ways. She stopped the both of them outside her home, questioning why Sejin was trespassing on her family's property. It took a lot of explanation, but eventually she became to trust Sejin and let them into her home and took him to meet Caprice to give her his letter.

Eventually the time came where Caprice decided to take further measures to keep Alessia safe. She decided to send her, Sejin, Arlo, and Jiho to Namimori. She simply told Alessia that it was so she could get a "better education" and she was sending the boys to look after her. Though, Jiho had to return to Korea again to deal with some personal things. Once they all arrived, they were enrolled into Namimori and started adjusting to one another and learning how to cope with the new changes. It was there that they ran into Tsuna and the other Vongola. Alessia thought very low of Tsuna at first, seeing how he acted in class and just weird in general. Though, once she finally started paying attention, she saw how much he cared for his friends and the people around him and she started looking up to him and respecting him. (And of course it was when she met Gokudera and that whole love interest started.)

When the Novana found out about the Vongola during their ring trials, Alessia wasn't very surprised. She had a hunch for a while that there was some kind of mafia scene going on, having lived with mafioso for so long. She paid attention to the trials and made sure the Novana were there for support.

A while after that, Alessia recieved a letter from Caprice saying she was coming to Japan. It wasn't really strange for her mother to come and check up on her since she usually sent them money anyway. However, once her mother got there, she was in for a shock. The whole reason Caprice visited this time, was to finally tell Alessia about the truth of the Novana, and to let her know what is to come (aka the Trials and taking on lead of the family). Of course, Alessia was shocked speechless. It took her weeks to finally recover, and when she did it was almost to late, because the Trials had started.

During her Trial, Sophia appeared to Alessia while they were all at the Novana house in Namimori. She explained to her what had happened during her Generation, how she died from an illness and how her Guardians went rogue. The Novana had become a deadly assassination group, instead of the peaceful protectors they used to be. In order to restore their reputation to what it used to be, Alessia would have to accept her role completely, and do whatever she could to protect her family, Guardians, and protect what name they had left. After hours of hesitation, she accepted and finally became the Novana Decimo.
